OmaCrave

What are you craving?

OmaCrave rates dishes, not restaurants. Search "ramen" and see it ranked across nearby kitchens by diners' ratings of that dish.

How it works

Every menu has a hero dish.

  1. Search the dish

Type what you want to eat, not where. Ramen, birria, pho, a good burger.

  2. Compare it kitchen by kitchen

See that exact dish ranked across nearby restaurants, with what diners said about it.

  3. Rate it after you eat

Your stars move the dish's score. Only diners' ratings do.

Rated dish by dish

Most review apps give a restaurant one overall score. OmaCrave scores each dish.

One dish, one score

A dish is judged on its own, not dragged down by the rest of the menu.

Only diners move the stars

Restaurants can't rate themselves, buy a higher rank or remove an honest review.

Your stars are never bought

We don't pay for ratings, and badges count how often you rate, never which stars you give.

Scores that keep up

Scores update every Monday and older ratings fade, so a kitchen that gets better gets credit.

The For You screen in the OmaCrave app: Top Picks of the Week, Pho Dac Biet at Little Lantern Pho, 4.7 stars, with a Craving Satisfied badge.

Five picks a week, tuned to your taste.

Tell OmaCrave what you like once. Top Picks of the Week, moods and Decide for me learn from what you save and rate.

Can't choose? Pick a mood (rainy night in, quick bite, treat yourself) and Decide for me hands you one dish, starting with your saves, not a list of fifty.

You're in control: turn off Personalized picks any time.

Also in the app

  • Ask Oma. Your food guide in the app: say what you're in the mood for and get dishes from OmaCrave's ratings, with the reasons.

  • Craving blend. Eating with a friend? Blend your tastes and find a dish you'll both be happy with.

  • Craving alerts. A heads-up when a saved dish is open and close by. Off until you turn it on.

  • Which was better? Had two versions of a dish? Pick the winner and your picks get sharper. It never changes a dish's stars.

For restaurants

Every kitchen has that one dish. OmaCrave helps it find its people.

When OmaCrave opens, claim your listing for free, add the dish you're proud of with your own photos and story, and let diners say the rest.

  • Free to claim. Your listing, your photos, your words.
  • Your score is earned. Ranking can't be bought, which is why a stranger will trust it.
  • Bring your own diners. We'll send a table tent and QR code that ask every guest, not just the happy ones: "Had this dish? Rate it on OmaCrave."

"So how do I get a good rating?"

The same way you earned it in your kitchen: one plate, one happy customer at a time. Every person who loves this dish can now say so, where it counts.
